Who Will It Be?

Although Portland ruined the suspense last night by declaring their intentions to draft Greg Oden #1 overall, there are still many questions to answer.

It's too bad for the rest of the world that they don't live with Rossman, he already knows the first 38 picks.

Tonight, 7:30 PM

You'll only get my latest insights here:

Sixers are desperately trying to move up, and right now, the most realistic option appears to be a trade with Milwaukee for the 6th pick. It would cost them the 12 and 21, and possibly a future pick. If the Sixers move up to 6, look for them to draft Yi if he's there, otherwise it's Jeff Green.

There are also rumors that they would trade 12, 21, and Miller with Atlanta for the 3rd pick, with which they'd pick Horford, but with no replacement at point in sight, I'm not sold on this move.

If the Sixers end up sticking at 12, they'll take the best available player who could be anyone from Julian Wright, Thornton, or Hawes.

Regardless of the outcome, it promises to be an eventful night in Sixer-ville!

You'll be pleased to know, that I am not the only one who is excited about tonight's draft, my brother Lewis will be hosting a draft party at his house in San Francisco. If you happen to be in San Fran, feel free to stop by.

Jon, about my party...I'd prefer it if you didn't come.

Jon, FYI: stealing mail from the sixer's front office is a federal offence. Conduct yourself accordingly.
