A high school teacher has resigned during the middle of an investigation in which he allegedly used his teeth to remove the garter of a student during the prom.Brett Coogle, an English teacher at Western High School in Kentucky, quit on Monday said Lauren Roberts, public information officer with the Jefferson County Public Schools.
Roberts said a photo taken at the school's prom on May 11 appeared to show Coogle taking a candy garter off a female student with his teeth. Coogle was reassigned to non-instructional duties on May 17.
