Well, it didn't last long.
The NJIT Highlanders' one-game winning streak came to a screeching halt on Saturday afternoon when they fell to Longwood, 63-51.
Isaiah Wilkerson, a Curtis product, scored 15 points off the bench. In an ironic twist, Longwood was the last team NJIT had beaten prior to their 51-game losing streak.
NJIT ended the nation's longest losing streak -- 51 games -- on Wednesday night when they defeated Byrant University, a first-year D-I program, 61-51 in Newark.
Proud to be New Jersey.
