Whah?

A toddler in Durham, England, is lucky to be alive after she was sucked down a drain and dragged 150 feet through an underground pipe before being thrown out into a river.

The girl, 3, was paddling in 6 inches of water in a children's park when she suddenly disappeared down the uncovered drain along with her dog, and spat out into a nearby river.

Acting fast, the toddler's father jumped into the water to rescue her.

“Fortunately, when the girl and her dog disappeared, the dad quickly realized what was happening, ran to the river bank and plucked her from the swollen river," said Sgt. Keith Wardle of the Durham Police Department.

The dog has still not been found.
