Cage was allegedly awakened early Monday and found 45-year-old Robert Dennis Furo wandering around inside the house, wearing nothing more than one of the actor's jackets.
Police said the actor told Furo, who said he's a tailor, to take off his jacket and Cage escorted the naked intruder outside. A security guard in the gated community then arrived and Furo was arrested.
Furo pleaded not guilty to felony residential burglary during arraignment Tuesday and he remains in jail with bail set at $50,000.
Cage's publicist wouldn't comment on this or for his role in "Wicker Man".
