When Officers Maria McKnight and Shawn McGee completed Delaware County Police Academy training in December and joined the Clifton Heights Police, their first assignment was to go bar-hopping, posing as a young couple intent on scoring illegal drugs.The two carried it off repeatedly over the next few months, making deals in four different bars for drugs including prescription pills, methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana and LSD, Police Chief Walter Senkow and Delaware County District Attorney G. Michael Green told a news conference Thursday.
Green said warrants were issued for about two dozen suspected drug dealers as a result. More than half had been arrested, with arrests expected to continue later Thursday and Friday, he said.
